Treasure Coast Charities Classic Golf Tournament

The Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club will host the Sixth Annual Treasure Coast Charities Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 22 at the prestigious St. Lucie Trail Golf Club, 951 SW Country Club Drive in St. Lucie West.

“We are fortunate to have PGA here in our community and to have the help of such a prestigious organization in raising funds for local charities,” PSL Sunset Rotary Club President Jeannette Weiss said. “This tournament is our club’s major fundraiser of the year. Thanks to Arrigo Dodge and other sponsors, we are able to offer a fun tournament and to donate thousands of dollars to local charities that need our help.”

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30. Players will enjoy a hot buffet breakfast, on-course snacks, a fabulous lunch and awards ceremony and an exciting silent auction. Every player will receive a great thank-you gift and goodie bag for participating. The day will also include hole-in-one, putting, longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests. Previous years’ tournaments have raised money for numerous local charities, including CASTLE; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indian River, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties; Friends in Pink, assisting Treasure Coast residents with breast cancer; The Yubbie Foundation, an anti-bullying program designed for local middle students; First Tee of the Treasure Coast; IRSC Scholarship program; Morningside Elementary Schools’ Backpack Program for food-insecure children; Honor Flights, and veteran’s charities
